Effective HR document and file management for supervisors

“Out with the old, in with the new!” chant managers intent on a serious spring cleaning. In your quest for a clean slate, you may dispose of documents you shouldn’t—documents that should be forwarded to HR so they can be added to an employee’s official personnel file, which may substantiate a need for family and medical leave, etc. Here are pointers to help you decide which documents to retain and which to pitch.
