The current version of the Employment Eligibility Verification (I-9) Form carries an Aug. 31, 2012, expiration date at the top. The feds are considering changes to the form, but have yet to issue a new version. So officials last month said employers should continue to use the current version, even after Aug. 31, until further notice.
